Book review

This made a fantastic holiday read and is one hell of a great true to life comical romance read. The main character Cali is a and romance writer herself and she has one hell of a wicked sense of humor, even whilst dealing with dealing a broken heart, faced with massive writers block she seeks refuge in the countryside, or at least that’s what she goes there for however the peace and quiet she so desperately wanted doesn’t happen for her some how she finds herself caught between brothers that hate each other, Flynn and Liam as well as coming face to face with her family issues,an fallout with her best friend, and the struggles with the novel she’s supposed to be writing. It’s all complicated, but so interesting to follow her step by step and to see how she manages to find her way.

I highly recommend reading this as well as Kerry s other work if you want to read a funny, interesting, and complicated love story.

Book blurb:
Cali Williams is an unlucky in love author. Following her recent split from her boyfriend, Cali can’t produce. Her stories are depressing and quite frankly not worth the paper they are printed on. On advice from her agent and best friend Clarke, Cali heads to the country for some ‘time out’ to find herself and get her writing spirit back but as soon as she arrives, she finds herself easily distracted by the country life.

Who knew shovelling horses crap could be so sexy, singing karaoke in the local pub could be so much fun and a change of scenery is, indeed, as good as a rest.

With village gossip, a grumpy but sexy handyman and handbags drawn at dawn, will Cali ever be able to write another best selling novel and find Mr Right or is she doomed for life?
